My name is Don Bundesen, the Managing Director of Connect Law, and it’s a pleasure to tell you of my background and my law company.

My legal experience may be known to many but untold to others so here is a brief background. I have had twelve years experience as a senior legal adviser to the Qld Attorney General. In that time I was responsible for numerous legislation as well as being a State Representative on the Standing Committee of Attorneys General (SCOAG), Hague Conventions, Law of the Sea Conventions, Copyright and Patent Conventions and Computers and the Law to name a few.

I have been a Part time lecturer in Commercial Law, Company Law and Medical Law over a period of 15 years. I have been engaged to represent Australian companies in the Republic of Indonesia, The Republic of the Philippines and the Republic of China. I was a consultant to Qld Motorways, Qld Rail in its Commercial Division and recently as the CEO and Legal Counsel for CCIQ LAW a division of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Qld.

In 2012 I attended the combined Chambers of Commerce Conference at the Gold Coast in Queensland. It was one address there that rang clearly in my head. The speaker made this simple statement:
